We had a very good weekend. Stephen had five days off from work, but for his first day helped his brother work on a house up in Island Park. Saturday we had Easter with Stephen's family. We had a cook out, kids had an easter egg hunt (indoors because of the six inches of snow outside). Then we went to Alicia's baby shower. I can't believe how little Kaydrie is. It's hard to remember Riley being that small, they grow so fast. Sunday we watched conference and had an easter dinner at Enid's and exchanged Easter baskets. Enid got Riley a bubble gun. It was so cute to watch him trying to figure out where the bubbles went when they popped. Monday Stephen had the guys and enid come over and play modern warfare. I'm not the biggest fan, but he enjoys it and I guess every once in a while isn't the worse thing in the world. Tuesday was our 3 year anniversary. We went to see Bounty Hunter which is a really funny movie by the way. We laughed pretty hard. We went to dinner at Jakers. We had never been there before. It was good, but a little expensive. For my anniversary gift I got to get my wedding ring resized. I haven't been able to wear it for like two years. I had it cleaned about two years ago but i have skin issues and the chemicals made my skin breakout so i stopped wearing it for a while, then i got pregnant and it didn't fit, and now it still doesn't fit. I am losing weight, but if figured i'm gonna be pregnant a lot during the next 8 or so years so i might as well go ahead and make it fit me now and for when i'm fat and prego. So I'm excited to actually look married again. We also got Riley some new clothes. He was running pretty low with his outfits. He is growing so fast. Riley loves to dance, loves exploring in the bathroom and thinks the blowdryer is the best toy, he sleeps well in a bed but not his crib, he thinks it's so funny to stand up in the tub, he likes to make himself dizzy by shaking his head back and forth. I love him sooo much!

I'm trying this out

So I have a lot of family that blogs, and I've thought for a long time that I should start, so here it goes. So I'm really bad at keeping a journal and I thought this would be a fun way of doing it.

I don't really know where to start, if I should try and catch up, but i guess i'll just start with this week. Riley is growing more everyday. The other day as i was feeding him his bottle he was moving his fingers in front of his face and he just started giggling at his hand for like five minutes. I was vacuuming the living room the other day and he followed the vacuum around the room. I thought he'd be afraid of it but no, he thought it was a game. Stephen has the next six days off, and we have lots of fun planned. stephen and I have been trying to lose weight, and since january i have lost 20lbs and he has lost 27lbs, so now that you all know it will help keep us going.
